Spam in comments on YouTube, is it worth it?
Spammers are gaining momentum on the Internet; we’ll tell you in our article whether you need to do this on YouTube! Pros and cons, making money on spam.
Spam on YouTube is a common occurrence, but what is spam used for? You can make money from spam, especially considering the fact that YouTube’s popularity is growing every day.
Of course, the site has special filters installed that in most cases do not allow such comments to pass through, but with the right approach, they can be deceived.
Spam in comments, is it necessary to do this?
Now many people make money from spam - by placing advertising links wherever possible. The user, without knowing or understanding it, clicks on such a link, and the author receives his reward. Accordingly, the more transitions, the more earnings. What comments can be classified as spam?
First of all this:
- comments with active links;
- comments with various symbols (hearts,plus signs, etc.);
- comments that are in no way related to the topic of the video;
- short comments (for example, Like), I liked it very much, and others).
Spammers distribute advertisements and links to their sites on many resources, but YouTube is one of the most popular. Why? It’s very simple - there are a lot of subscribers, and moderation follows a simplified algorithm.
Only the channel owner can delete spam comments. If you are constantly comment spamming on YouTube then chances are you will sooner or later be blocked or at least banned.
It is also quite possible that all your comments will immediately end up in the “spam” folder and simply will not be visible to other users, so it is highly not recommended to get carried away with such mailings.
Make money on spam incomments, of course, it’s possible, but you shouldn’t get carried away with it. If you really want to promote your channel and make money on it, write interesting and meaningful comments - they will be much more effective than spam.
Spam has its pros and cons. It is worth noting that there are still more of the latter, in the end it is simply dangerous (if you are afraid of losing your account).
There are several main aspects of the advantages:
- a spam comment will be read by a large number of users, approximately 50% will follow the link (interesting!);
- the effectiveness of spam is confirmed by statistics;
- frequent comments can lead to a ban or blocking, messages are immediately sent to the spam folder;
- if frequent spam occurs, users stoppay attention to this type of advertising;
- spam is not suitable for normal promotion of a site or channel, excessive activity will lead to unpleasant consequences and you need to be aware of this immediately.
Earning money from spam, is it possible or not?
As mentioned above, it is possible to make money from spam on YouTube, but it is quite risky. You can leave a link to prohibited sites, advertise a product or resources, but be prepared for the fact that your account will eventually be blocked and this is almost 100%.

You can spam with less risky sites - those that offer referral programs. The bottom line is that you will be paid for the number of people brought to the site. If you don’t want to lose your YouTube profile, it’s best to use fake ones - which you don’t mind losing.
How does YouTube fight spammers?
When registering on the resource, you agree to certain rules.One of them is not to disseminate prohibited information or launch automated systems. Violation of the rules results in an almost immediate blocking.
YouTube fights spammers, although this does not always lead to the desired result, especially since knowing the methods of fighting, you can deceive the system, with the right approach, of course.
The site has special bots that “re-read” comments and decide whether to allow them or not. If the bot cannot read the message, it automatically goes to spam.
The channel owner can block spammers himself - to do this, you just need to blacklist them. Comments from such people simply will not be visible.
This is one of the most effective methods, but not every channel owner uses it for various reasons. Ideally, it is the channel owner who should send moderator complaints about spam - and then the distributor willinformation will be punished - blocked or banned.
Universal methods of fighting spam simply do not exist. Almost every day new tricks appear that bypass the system and anti-spam programs.

Spam filters on YouTube are not very effective, but they still work, so don’t deliberately and constantly spam comments, remember that there will still be retribution for this!
If advertising or spam in YouTube comments is absolutely necessary, do not use real accounts for these purposes. It is best to register several new ones or buy already promoted ones, since this can be done easily and quickly.
Promoted accounts will bring more effect than recently created ones. You can buy promoted accounts on special resources, it will cost you very little.
